Application Privacy Statement

Regarding Artvise Importer for integration with Facebook

This privacy statement (“Privacy Statement”) applies to the treatment of personally identifiable information submitted by, or otherwise obtained from, you or your visitors in connection with the associated application (“Application”).
The Application is provided by Artvise.
By using or otherwise accessing the Application, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Statement.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES ARTVISE COLLECT?

We may receive and store any information we collect from the facebook page you authorize us to manage.
We will only collect information from visitors posting (sends a message, makes a wall post or comments on another post) on the page.

The types of personal information collected includes the visitor's full name.
We will also collect the text that the visitor posted on the page as well as the ID of the post.

HOW DOES ARTVISE USE THE INFORMATION IT COLLECTS?

Artvise never receives the information described in this Privacy Statement.
The information is only stored in the Servicedesk application of the customer (owner of the monitored Facebook page) in order to enable Servicedesk to read and organise the information and reply to the posts.
The full name is required for the users of Servicedesk to know who posted the message and reply in a courteous manner.
The ID of the post is required for the Servicedesk to reply to the post.

WILL ARTVISE SHARE ANY OF THE PERSONAL INFORMATION IT RECEIVES?

Artvise never receives any of the information per se.
The information is only stored in the Servicedesk application of the customer (See "HOW DOES ARTVISE USE THE INFORMATION IT COLLECTS?").

CONDITIONS OF USE.

By using or otherwise accessing the Application, and authorizing Artvise to manage your Facebook page, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Statement.
You may at any time revoke the authorization you have given us from within the settings page for the Facebook page.
Revoking the authorization prevents Artvise from reading and posting on your Facebook page.

When authorizing a request from Artvise to manage your Facebook page and running the Artvise Facebook Service, any information a visitor posts on the monitored page will be imported to the Servicedesk application of the customer.
The imported post will contain the name of the visitor as well as the posted message.
The imported post will also contain the id of the post since this is necessary to enable users of the Servicedesk application to reply to the post.
When replying to a post, the reply is posted as a reply to the original post on behalf of the monitored Page.


CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT.

Artvise may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time.
Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Statement in effect at the time such information is used.
If we make changes in the way we use personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
Users are bound by any changes to the Privacy Statement when he or she uses or otherwise accesses the Application after such changes have been first posted.
